As a Nurse Practitioner at Passport Health, you will manage patients' health requirements through detailed consultations and prescriptions tailored for travel-related conditions. This role includes responsibilities such as conducting health assessments, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and providing direct health education. Your expertise will guide clients in their travel health decisions while working within ethical guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess client health for travel safety remotely
• Manage prescriptions, including malaria prevention
• Educate clients on vaccinations and medication use
• Document care thoroughly in patient charts
• Engage with healthcare professionals for quality improvement
Requirements:
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in British Columbia
• Prescribing certification in the region
• Familiarity with modern health technologies
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Availability to work two shifts per week
