Position: Registered Nurse for Relational Care
Become a part of Kilala Lelum Health Cooperative as a Registered Nurse in the Relational Care Program. Provide essential nursing services to community members in the Downtown Eastside with a focus on holistic, culturally-informed care.

The role requires compassion, assessment skills, and a commitment to health equity. You'll engage in outreach, offering medication and wound care while supporting members from diverse backgrounds. Collaboration with physicians and other health professionals is paramount to meet the community's health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build supportive relationships with members from the community

• Perform outreach, medication delivery, and appointment accompaniment

• Document member interactions using EMR OSCAR

• Manage medications for individuals with chronic illnesses

• Supervise nursing students and assist in staff training

Requirements:

• Nursing Diploma or Baccalaureate degree; BCCNM registration

• At least one year in primary care nursing

• Skills in crisis intervention and conflict management

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

• Dedication to culturally-sensitive and trauma-informed practices
