Become a vital part of the care team as a Licensed Practical Nurse with Age Care in British Columbia. This nursing role emphasizes compassionate patient care in a vibrant community.
Age Care is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to focus on providing goal-directed care under the guidance of the Director of Care. You'll work collaboratively within a dedicated team to ensure residents experience high-quality and dignified care. Key tasks include maintaining care documentation, conducting assessments, and supporting resident transitions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on care plans and implement necessary adjustments
• Provide direct nursing care and educate residents and families
• Respond to significant changes in resident conditions
• Administer medications safely in compliance with policies
• Delegate tasks to unregulated care providers effectively
Requirements:
• Licensed Practical Nurse registration in British Columbia
• Preferred experience in senior care or long-term facilities
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Willingness to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
