Registered Nurse Emergency Education Program

Take advantage of the Emergency Education Seat Program l’s Hospital. This Registered Nurse position offers funded specialty training while you contribute to critical patient care.

As a member of Providence Health Care, you will play a key role in an engaging and high-impact environment. The Emergency Department specializes in diverse patient needs, and your involvement will be critical in managing complex cases. Successful applicants will receive funding for the BCIT Emergency Specialty Nursing Program and robust training to foster clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient care needs

• Provide timely and effective nursing interventions

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health teams

• Guide and educate patients and their families

• Facilitate effective discharge planning and follow-up

Requirements:

• Current nursing registration with BCCNM

• 1-2 years in a medical/surgical setting preferred

• Valid CPR certification

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills

• Physical ability to fulfill nursing duties
