Registered Nurse – Clinical Research (Phase 1 Trials Unit)
Join Vancouver Coastal Health as a Registered Nurse in Clinical Research at the UBC Hospital's Phase 1 Trials Unit. This position combines patient-centered care with cutting-edge clinical research. You will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, focusing on participant care while ensuring adherence to study standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality clinical care according to protocols
- Assess and follow up with participants throughout the study
- Collect samples and perform required tests as per study needs
- Complete documentation and case report forms thoroughly
- Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal care
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current BCCNM certification
- Two years of nursing experience in research or high acuity
- Solid knowledge of clinical protocols and ethics
- Proficient in IV therapy and blood collection
- Effective communication skills in a team setting
