Temporary Part Time Registered Nurse

Position: Temporary Part Time Registered Nurse Role
Humber River Health is seeking a Temporary Part Time Registered Nurse to provide patient care in surgical clinics. Bring your nursing expertise in a supportive environment at the Wilson Site.

This role requires recent nursing experience, including inpatient and ambulatory clinics. You'll be responsible for scrubbing and circulating during minor surgical procedures, as well as patient care post-procedure. Effective care planning and collaboration with team members are key to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scrubbing and circulating duties in surgical clinics

• Provide care for patients after minor surgeries

• Assist physicians in orthopedic fracture procedures

• Participate in departmental teams as needed

• Document patient care using computerized systems

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience

• Completion of Health assessment course preferred

• Proficient in IV therapy and patient assessment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
