Age Care is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse who will report directly to the Director of Care. You will implement patient-focused nursing care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure residents receive dignified treatment. Ideal candidates will have strong communication and critical thinking skills, ready to support residents in long-term care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct accurate assessments and maintain care plans
• Provide direct nursing care and administer medications
• Educate residents and families on health conditions
• Respond to changes in residents’ medical conditions
• Oversee medication management and emergency protocols
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Experience in senior or long-term care preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Strong clinical knowledge and electronic documentation skills
• Willingness to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
