Join the Vancouver Coastal Health team in this key nursing role. You will act as a vital provider of direct nursing care, case coordination, and discharge planning for clients facing mental health challenges, including severe illnesses and substance use disorders. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized nursing care and treatment planning
• Conduct physical and psychosocial rehabilitation assessments
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimum client outcomes
• Administer medications and monitor client responses
• Maintain accurate client documentation and participate in team meetings
Requirements:
• Registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse
• Minimum 240 hours of clinical experience in mental health
• Comprehensive knowledge of concurrent disorders and harm reduction
• Ability to effectively manage crisis situations and conflict
• Experience in delivering educational programs to clients and families
