As a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse, you will provide care for older residents, utilizing critical thinking and sound judgment. You will be responsible for implementing clinical interventions, evaluating resident outcomes, and serving as a key resource for your interdisciplinary team, supporting collaborative, cohesive care. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on resident care
• Coordinate clinical interventions and evaluate outcomes
• Support RCA’s and LPN’s in delivering resident care
• Lead family discussions on goals of care and documentation
Requirements:
• Current registration with BCCNM as RN or RPN
• Gerontology course completion or equivalent experience
• Proven knowledge of chronic disease management
• Competency in end-of-life care practices
• Strong skills in nursing practices for frail elderly
