Position: LPN Role Coastal Health
Join Vancouver Coastal Health in Powell River as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) focused on Withdrawal Management. Engage in client and family-centric care while addressing mental health and substance use.

As an LPN, you'll work in a collaborative environment, assessing and planning comprehensive care for clients experiencing various health challenges. Your skills in trauma-informed practices and the ability to uphold cultural humility will be essential in this role. You will also work alongside Registered Nurses to ensure high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide thorough assessments and progress documentation

• Develop and implement care plans collaboratively

• Educate families about health challenges and recovery

• Utilize anti-racism principles in practice

• Foster client rapport and promote cultural safety

Requirements:

• Current LPN registration with the BCCNM

• Completion of a recognized Practical Nurse program

• Specialized training in Mental Health care preferred

• Access to personal vehicle and valid BC Driver's license

• Demonstrated ability to manage aggressive behaviors
