Mental Health Nurse at RainCity Housing

Join Rain City Housing as a Nurse Level 3, specializing in mental health care. This role focuses on client-centered support for individuals with complex mental health and addiction concerns.

As a Nurse Level 3, you will assess, plan, and implement care for clients under the BC Mental Health Act. You'll work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring the integration of services for clients facing mental illness and substance use challenges. This position requires flexibility and a commitment to providing holistic care that aligns with Rain City's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct mental and physical health assessments

• Develop individualized treatment planning

• Deliver crisis intervention and support

• Administer medications and monitor treatment progress

• Maintain relationships with community health providers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Nursing (RN/RPN)

• Current registration with the BCCNM

• Three years' experience in mental health treatment

• Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license

• Clear Criminal Record Check required
