The Clinical Nurse Specialist will play a pivotal role in delivering expert care while advocating for nursing standards and best practices. You will lead nursing education initiatives, consult with healthcare professionals, and drive evidence-based practices to improve patient care across the Mental Health Program. Your expertise will contribute significantly to shaping nursing practices within a supportive interdisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead nursing research efforts to enhance clinical practices
• Provide expert nursing care and clinical guidance
• Consult on patient care strategies and program evaluations
• Develop and implement educational programs for staff
• Collaborate to establish best practices in patient care
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Nursing
• Minimum five years of nursing experience, with three in mental health
• Skill in holistic patient assessments and care planning
• Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia
• Capacity to mentor nursing staff in evidence-based practices
