OB GYN Surgical Assistant in Bellingham

Become a pivotal part of the surgical team at Peace Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, WA as a per diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

This role offers flexible scheduling while focusing on quality OB GYN care.

We are looking for an experienced board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a strong surgical assist background. This position requires compassion and a commitment to a collaborative, patient-first approach. You'll have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled team performing a full range of GYN surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver first surgical assistance during GYN procedures

• Participate in a patient-focused team environment

• Cover approximately 5 days per month

• Work on surgeries scheduled Monday through Friday

• Leverage Epic EMR for patient data management

Requirements:

• Current board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

• Proven experience as surgical first assist

• Strong collaborative skills with team focus

• Flexible availability for per diem shifts

• Enthusiasm for working in a surgical setting
