Assertive Community Treatment Nurse

Make a meaningful impact in mental health as an Assertive Community Treatment Nurse with Rain City Housing in Vancouver. You’ll provide client-centered care to assist individuals with mental illness and addictions.

Rain City Housing is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse on its Assertive Community Treatment Team. In this role, you will perform assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention, ensuring integration across the care continuum. Your experience with mental health and addictions will be vital in delivering comprehensive care while adhering to BCCNM standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate client health needs

• Implement treatment plans and interventions

• Monitor medication and wound care

• Conduct liaising with community health partners

• Provide crisis intervention and emergency support

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Diploma in Nursing (RN/RPN)

• Current BCCNM registration and valid BC Driver’s License

• Three years experience in mental health treatment

• Knowledge of harm reduction and recovery principles

• Ability to work within a diverse community
