As a Licensed Practical Nurse with VCH, you’ll implement, evaluate, and document client care activities guided by BCCNM standards. You will work independently and collaboratively, supporting the Registered Nurse in complex cases while utilizing your practical nursing skills. This role emphasizes maintaining clinical competence and ensures effective communication with clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and evaluate client care plans within your specialty

• Support Registered Nurses in complex care situations

• Document detailed client assessments and care outcomes

• Maintain clinical competence following BCCNM standards

• Communicate effectively with clients and team members

Requirements:

• Graduated from an accredited Practical Nurse program

• Current registration with BCCNM as a Licensed Practical Nurse

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Physical capability to perform nursing duties

• Ability to organize and prioritize work tasks
