Become a crucial member of St. Paul's Hospital's Acute Behavioural Stabilization Unit in Vancouver. As a full-time RN/RPN, you'll provide comprehensive care to patients facing diverse health challenges in a collaborative setting.

St. Paul’s Hospital is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse for its fast-paced ABSU. This role focuses on complex cases, including neurology, gastroenterology, and mental health. Utilize your skills in assessment, planning, and intervention to enhance patient well-being while working closely with an interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patient care needs

• Develop and implement individualized care plans

• Monitor and document patient progress and conditions

• Provide direct crisis intervention and nursing care

• Educate patients and families about health-promoting behaviors

Requirements:

• Active RN and RPN registrations with British Columbia College

• Two years’ psychiatric nursing experience in acute settings

• Knowledge of CPR and effective communication skills

• Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams

• Physical capability to perform nursing duties
