Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Registered Nurse/Psychiatric Nurse (RN/RPN) to support complex care planning and educational needs for staff focused on adult abuse, neglect, and self-neglect. This role emphasizes patient and family-centered care via program development and interdisciplinary collaboration. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver formal education and consultation to nursing staff
• Develop programs and policies for Adult Protection initiatives
• Mentor colleagues on patient care and support
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and analyze current literature
• Promote compliance with Adult Guardianship Act regulations
Requirements:
• Current RN/RPN registration with BCCNM
• Five years’ experience working with vulnerable adults
• Post-graduate training in Adult Protection
• Valid BC Driver's License for business use
• Thorough knowledge of adult guardianship regulations
Utilize your clinical expertise to guide educators and improve care for vulnerable adults within VCH.
