Nurse Practitioner – Doc-Side Medical

Doc-Side Medical, a clinic in the downtown eastside, is looking to have a Nurse Practitioner join their clinical team. As part of a multi-disciplinary approach to full-service family medicine, the NP will work collaboratively in the team environment and start their own patient panel in accordance with Ministry requirements.

• Collaborate with 2 Family Physicians and 2 Psychiatrists within a 3,000 square foot clinic, conducting appointments both virtually and in person.
• Provide primary care services to a patient population largely composed of mental illness and addiction cases, and assist patients who are unhoused or on social assistance.
• Work independently to manage a patient panel and participate in the development of Primary Care Networks (PCNs) within the community.
• Follow clinic protocols and participate in the FPSC portal, ensuring longitudinal continuity of care.

Monday/Wednesday 12pm-5pm, Tuesday/Thursday 9:30am-5pm, Friday 9:30am-3pm. Full-time salary available (part-time is also possible).

The clinic provides free gated parking for physicians underground. EMR system used is Oscar. The appointment times and patient panels are determined in collaboration with the Clinical Team.
