Casual Nursing Laboratory Demonstrator

Elevate nursing education as a Casual Laboratory Demonstrator at Langara College. Coordinate lab operations, provide demonstrations, and support student learning in an engaging environment.

As a Laboratory Demonstrator, you'll report to the Nursing Division Chair and facilitate individual and group demonstrations. Your responsibilities include setting up lab materials, ordering equipment, and performing administrative tasks related to laboratory operations. Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and relevant teaching and nursing experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group lab demonstrations for Nursing students

• Set up and organize necessary materials and equipment

• Order lab supplies and maintain physical inventory

• Perform administrative activities relevant to lab operations

• Deliver effective practical instruction in various nursing procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a recognized institution

• Current membership with BCCNM

• 2-4 years of recent nursing experience

• Experience in a teaching environment

• Proven ability to operate lab and audiovisual equipment
