As the Assistant Nurse Manager for Peace Health, you'll guide nursing practices to ensure high-quality, compassionate care for patients and their families. This role involves assisting in clinical service delivery planning and performance evaluations while promoting safety and effective communication on the unit. You'll also support budget monitoring and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safe, efficient patient care and unit safety
• Facilitate planning and delivery of clinical services
• Supervise and counsel nursing staff and document actions
• Assist with budget monitoring and resource management
• Support the Clinical Educator in departmental training
Requirements:
• Nursing degree from accredited school required
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience needed
• At least 2 years in leadership roles preferred
• Registered Nurse credentials in state of practice required
• Basic Life Support certification upon hire
