As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you’ll report to the Director of Care and play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing services. You’ll collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient-focused care, conduct resident assessments, and implement personalized care plans. Your expertise will be critical in managing medications, responding to medical emergencies, and guiding unregulated care providers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care and administer medications
• Conduct accurate assessments and document resident care plans
• Implement and evaluate care plans continually
• Coordinate with physicians and care team effectively
• Respond to changes in resident conditions swiftly
Requirements:
• Current LPN registration in British Columbia
• Experience in long-term or senior care preferred
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Proficient with electronic documentation
