The position involves direct nursing responsibilities under the guidance of Clinical Nursing Leaders. Candidates should be experienced in medication management, personal hygiene assistance, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams while ensuring a safe and respectful environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized nursing care to residents
• Perform catheterizations and wound dressings
• Document care and administer medications including narcotics
• Monitor residents’ health and report significant changes
• Assist with personal care and transportation tasks
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nurse program
• Current BCCNM registration and recent training in Pharmacology
• Experience in Long Term Care and Gerontology required
• Basic Life Support training and First Aid certification
• PCC experience is preferred
