In this position, you will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses, focusing on care plans for renal patients. Your training in nephrology nursing will be essential as you perform assessments and interventions while enhancing the health and wellness of clients and their families. Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the RN on renal patient care initiatives
• Conduct nursing assessments for evaluating patient conditions
• Document and coordinate health services accurately
• Educate clients and support their care journeys
• Respond to potential complications and care needs
Requirements:
• Licensed Practical Nurse registration with BCCNM
• Completion of an advanced nephrology nursing program
• Two years of recent acute care experience
• Ability to utilize dialysis equipment safely
• Strong clinical judgment skills for ethical patient care
