As a Nurse Practitioner in the Geriatric Medicine team, you will focus on assessing and managing complex medical and psychiatric conditions within a supportive interdisciplinary environment. Experience with internal medicine or acute care is advantageous, but all skilled Nurse Practitioner graduates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and manage complex medical conditions of patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
• Prescribe medications following regulatory standards
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans
• Lead educational initiatives for health care professionals
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner in B.C.
• Completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support, Level C
• Relevant clinical nursing experience preferred
• Ability to communicate complex health information
• Commitment to professional development and quality improvement
