Position: VGH Nurse Practitioner for Patient Health Management
Empower patients as a Nurse Practitioner with Vancouver Coastal Health, focusing on Orthopedics and Oncology.

Your role encompasses patient assessment, treatment initiation, and evidence-based strategy development.

Reporting to the Senior Director, you’ll operate within interdisciplinary teams to manage comprehensive patient care. You will diagnose, prescribe, and guide treatment protocols while actively enhancing healthcare services through collaborative efforts. Your contributions to health quality improvements will impact client care at multiple levels including community and population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments to diagnose medical conditions

• Develop treatment plans and manage health interventions

• Mentor and support interdisciplinary teams in patient care

• Oversee participation in quality assurance and policy initiatives

Requirements:

• Current Nurse Practitioner registration with BCCNM

• Strong background in pharmacology and treatment evaluation
