As a Casual Nurse, you will engage in a range of activities, from assessments to treatment planning, focusing on client-centered approaches. You will need strong knowledge of mental health legislation and experience in working with diverse populations. This role is essential in fostering relationships and coordinating care across various health services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess client physical, psychiatric, and social needs

• Plan and evaluate personalized treatment interventions

• Aid in crisis management and support

• Communicate with community health resources

• Perform wound care and medication administration

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Diploma in Nursing (RN/RPN)

• Active registration with BCCNM

• Minimum three years in related mental health nursing

• Must possess a valid BC Driver’s License

• Understanding of harm reduction practices
