Part-Time Nurse Practitioner Foundry

The Nurse Practitioner role at Foundry centers on delivering comprehensive care to young people aged 12-24. Responsibilities include diagnosing conditions and developing evidence-based strategies for better health outcomes. Engage in community policy activities and contribute to health service improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor ongoing patient care and treatment plans
• Establish priorities and provide follow-up support for health issues
• Supervise nursing staff and evaluate their performance
• Participate in educating nurse practitioner students
• Implement health promotion activities for at-risk populations
Requirements:
• Valid Nurse Practitioner registration in British Columbia
• Recent relevant clinical nursing experience required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, Level C
• Skills in assessing population health trends
• Willingness to work part-time (0.50 or 0.80 FTE)
