Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse for their Inpatient Psychiatry team at the HOpe Centre. This role is vital for providing direct nursing care, discharge planning, and comprehensive treatment for clients suffering from mental illness and concurrent disorders. You will work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams to design treatment plans and ensure quality care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized direct nursing care and case coordination

• Conduct psychosocial rehabilitation assessments for clients

• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients

• Collaborate with healthcare providers on treatment plans

• Document client care according to organizational standards

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse with BCCNM

• Minimum 240 hours of clinical practicum in mental health

• Knowledge of concurrent disorders and substance use

• Skills in crisis intervention and conflict resolution

• Ability to engage in educational program development
