Clinical Nurse Specialist Island

The Clinical Nurse Specialist manages evidence-based initiatives and collaborates with physicians and clinical leaders to enhance program-related care. Applicants should have a Master of Science in Nursing and five to seven years of relevant experience, preferably in leadership roles. You will aid in developing policies and clinical practices aligned with Island Health's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with clinicians and leaders for evidence-based care
• Develop policies in line with strategic health initiatives
• Enhance quality improvement and patient safety continuously
• Guide program-related initiatives across multiple sites
• Work closely with Emergency Department staff
Requirements:
• Master of Science in Nursing and 5-7 years' experience
• Registered Nurse with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• National certification in area of expertise, if required
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
• Commitment to client-focused services and teamwork
