Temporary Registered Practical Nurse Relief

Elevate patient care as a Temporary Registered Practical Nurse in Medical Surgical/Complex Continuing Care. This part-time role involves providing nursing care and support to patients and families.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse for summer relief shifts. The position requires a strong commitment to patient safety, coupled with excellent communication and team collaboration skills. You will maintain quality care and contribute to developing policies and procedures under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality nursing care to patients and families

• Maintain and develop care policies and procedures

• Collaborate effectively with team members

• Follow organization’s safety practices and procedures

• Comply with patient/resident safety policies

Requirements:

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Current CPR and ACLS certification

• Minimum two years medical/surgical experience

• Cardiac Care Course preferred

• Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care
