As part of the Occupational Health, Safety & Wellness team, you will report to the Director while executing critical clinical and advisory functions. This role includes carrying out health surveillance, providing first aid, and coordinating outbreak management initiatives. Your contributions will ensure adherence to public health guidelines and regulations, impacting the overall safety and health of the workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer required immunizations and validate immunization status
• Conduct health surveillance and manage employee compliance
• Collaborate on occupational exposure follow-up and reporting
• Develop preventative health education and wellness programs
• Provide support in managing illness/injury claims with the Disability Management Team
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 3–5 years of acute care nursing experience necessary
• Master’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience with Disability Management claims is an asset
• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications
