Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a dedicated Emergency Registered Nurse to practice patient and family-centered care. This role demands proficiency in emergency nursing, particularly in triage and resuscitation. Collaborate with a team, ensuring quality nursing practices and consulting across various disciplines to enhance patient health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide emergency nursing to diverse patient populations
• Stabilize and resuscitate multi-trauma victims
• Assess patient needs and prioritize care requirements
• Consult and collaborate with healthcare professionals
• Participate in designated hospital committees and research projects
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM
• Advanced program in emergency care nursing or 2 years’ experience
• Current ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Demonstrated ability in trauma management
• Effective communication with patients and families
