In this dedicated role, you will address the complex needs of clients with mental illness and substance use disorders. Your responsibilities will include assessment and care planning, crisis intervention, and enhancing therapeutic relationships. Key Responsibilities:
• Assess client needs and develop care plans
• Facilitate group processes and conflict resolution
• Conduct educational sessions for clients and families
• Administer medications and monitor responses
• Document nursing care accurately and efficiently
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse license with BCCNM
• Completion of mental health practicum or equivalent
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care
• Ability to eliminate environmental barriers to healthy outcomes
• Experience in mentorship and crisis management
