Position: Vancouver Coastal Health Nurse Practitioner

Reporting to the Senior Director, your role will focus on comprehensive patient evaluations, therapeutic interventions, and the promotion of health equity. As an active medical staff member, you will engage in professional development, applying your knowledge from the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives to improve community health outcomes and policy-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose health disorders and develop treatment plans

• Initiate healthcare management and prescribe medications

• Collaborate on interdisciplinary health strategies

• Implement evidence-based practices and evaluate outcomes

• Participate in community health assessments and promotions

Requirements:

• Active registration as a Nurse Practitioner with BCCNM

• Strong foundation in developmental and behavioral sciences

• Ability to assess and influence health trends

• Experience in community engagement and support services

• Leadership skills in a healthcare setting
