As part of Providence, you will deliver holistic nursing care that focuses on the physical and emotional needs of patients with life-limiting illnesses. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, your skills will be essential in assessing needs, creating care plans, and supporting families during critical moments. This role emphasizes comfort, dignity, and quality in palliative care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor care plans
• Provide education and support to patients and families
• Advocate for patient rights and facilitate discharge planning
• Promote teamwork among care staff for effective service
• Participate in quality improvement and research activities
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with the BC College of Nurses
• Proven experience in end-of-life care
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Ability to lead clinical initiatives and teach others
• Flexibility in a dynamic healthcare setting
