In this role, you will be under the direction of the Manager, Indigenous Health, planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating care for clients experiencing chronic, acute, or mental health issues. You will conduct assessments, manage cases, and provide health teaching, all while working as a key member of a multidisciplinary team. Travel may be required, as well as the utilization of your personal vehicle based on service assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate nursing care for Indigenous clients
• Conduct comprehensive client assessments
• Provide health education and consultations
• Support multidisciplinary collaboration in care
• Ensure adherence to nursing regulations and Acts
Requirements:
• BC College of Nurses and Midwives registration
• Valid BC Driver's License
• Knowledge of community health services
• Minimum two years’ experience with Indigenous communities
• Understanding of culturally safe care principles
Contribute your nursing expertise and cultural knowledge to improve health services for Indigenous populations.
