In this pivotal role, you will assess and implement tailored care plans while providing therapeutic interventions within a supportive interdisciplinary team. Contribute to shaping a newly designed mental health care environment that emphasizes progress, recovery, and community resource connections. Your innovative approach will be a vital part of leading mental health service enhancements as the new facility prepares to open in February 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and monitor patients’ mental health needs
• Develop personalized care plans reflecting individual needs
• Collaborate with therapists and specialists for holistic care
• Engage in educational and quality improvement activities
• Influence how acute mental health services evolve
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses and Midwives in BC
• One year of recent acute mental health experience
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Capable of leading group educational sessions
• Ability to effectively manage crisis situations
