Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team in Interventional Radiology. This position requires you to perform specialized nursing functions, collaborate with the healthcare team, and assist during medical imaging procedures. Your experience in acute medical/surgical care will be pivotal in ensuring quality outcomes for patients who may require urgent support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care in interventional radiology settings
• Assist physicians during imaging procedures
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
• Respond to fluctuating workloads and critical situations
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and Medical Imaging team
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with a BC nursing license
• Approximately two years recent acute care experience
• Training completion before working in related departments
• Ability to work on-call as required
• Commitment to VCH for at least 18 months post-training
