Registered Nurse in Emergency Care

Participate in hands-on training within the Emergency Department while pursuing a specialty through the BCIT Emergency Specialty Nursing Program. Your contributions are vital to ensuring patients receive high-quality care across various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and implement individual nursing care plans

• Conduct patient assessments and care monitoring

• Educate patients and families in group settings

• Collaborate and share expertise with healthcare colleagues

• Adapt care plans based on ongoing evaluations

Requirements:

• Active RN registration with BCCNM

• Minimum 1-2 years in medical/surgical settings preferred

• Strong CPR skills and communication abilities

• Capacity to engage effectively with interdisciplinary teams

• Strength to meet physical job demands
