In this position as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse, you will provide individualized nursing care for clients facing severe mental illnesses and concurrent disorders. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing strength-based treatment plans and maintaining therapeutic relationships. You will work both independently and as part of a skilled team committed to high-quality care and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized direct nursing care to clients
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for care planning
• Perform psychosocial rehabilitation assessments
• Monitor client responses to prescribed medications
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation
Requirements:
• Current registration with BCCNM as an RN or RPN
• Minimum 240 hours of clinical practicum in mental health
• Knowledge of concurrent disorders and harm reduction strategies
• Ability to implement recovery-oriented care models
• Skill in crisis interventions and conflict resolution
