In this role, you will drive education initiatives while collaborating with clinical nurse specialists and interdisciplinary teams. You'll develop comprehensive training materials and deliver clinical support, ensuring nursing staff are equipped to provide excellent wound and skin care. This position emphasizes the importance of evidence-based practices in improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with teams to assess complex wounds
• Implement and evaluate education for nursing staff
• Support clinical practices through mentorship and guidance
• Promote evidence-based approaches to clinical care
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse certification from BC College of Nurses
• Recent experience in advanced wound/ostomy/continence care
• Successful completion of WOCN or NSWOCC program
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams
• Proficiency in educational program development
