Drive excellence in nursing education as a Nurse Educator in the Surgical Procedure Room l's Hospital, Vancouver. Enhance patient care through training and direct nursing support.
This full-time role requires a Clinical Nurse Leader/Nurse Educator to effectively supervise and educate nursing staff. You will streamline operations and foster a collaborative environment, offering clinical guidance while supporting research and quality improvement in patient care. Your previous experience in perioperative nursing will be instrumental.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead educational initiatives for nursing staff and patients
• Supervise clinical activities in the Operating Room
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care issues
• Implement quality improvement programs
• Provide direct nursing care as necessary
Requirements:
• Valid Canadian RN license and BCCNM eligibility
• At least three years in perioperative nursing
• Demonstrated ability to coach and lead
• Knowledge of adult education principles
• Strong conflict resolution skills
