This role involves working with clients facing severe mental illness and concurrent disorders, addressing their unique needs through tailored nursing interventions. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individualized nursing care to clients with mental health challenges
• Implement and evaluate strength-based treatment plans
• Consult with healthcare teams and families for holistic care
• Administer medications and monitor client responses
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records
Requirements:
• Registration as a Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse in BC
• 240 hours clinical experience in mental health
• Knowledge of concurrent disorders and treatment strategies
• Effective crisis intervention and conflict management skills
• Ability to foster collaborative relationships with clients and teams
