In this pivotal role, you will provide and coordinate psychiatric nursing services as part of a dynamic care team. Your responsibilities will include conducting nursing assessments, implementing care strategies, and engaging in advocacy for patients. Be a part of our quality improvement efforts and mentor fellow nursing staff in best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions
• Participate in documentation and reporting on nursing actions
• Monitor patients using approved technology as needed
• Communicate patient care plans effectively
• Advocate for patient rights and well-being
Requirements:
• Nursing degree from an accredited institution
• Registration with BCCNM as a Registered Nurse
• One year of relevant mental health experience required
• Requires a Class 5 Driver's License
• Commitment to continuing education and clinical competencies
