Minimum Nurse-to-Patient Ratios (mNPR) set the minimum number of nurses required to safely care for patients on a given unit. Education:

• Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
• Current basic cardiac life support certification

Skills & Abilities:

• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) procedures appropriate for the area of service
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
