Your role will deliver compassionate, client-centered care within a dynamic, collaborative environment.
This position entails working with adults suffering from moderate to severe mental health and substance use disorders. Your responsibilities will include utilizing nursing processes for assessment, risk management, and care planning. With a commitment to cultural safety and inclusivity, you’ll actively participate in interdisciplinary approaches to support holistic wellness and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individualized nursing care guided by professional standards
• Engage in crisis intervention and provide supportive counseling
• Participate in case management and community coordination
• Conduct assessments to identify client needs and risks
• Foster Indigenous cultural safety in all interactions
Requirements:
• Licensed as RN or RPN with BCCNM
• Two years experience in mental health nursing
• Understanding of harm reduction and trauma-informed care
• Effective communication skills in diverse settings
• Skills in clinical documentation and digital systems
