Become a Nurse at Shoppers Drug Mart, where you will provide essential health services and help your community stay healthy. This role emphasizes patient care, vaccination delivery, and chronic condition management.
As a Nurse, you will assess patients’ health and vaccination needs, ensuring that they receive appropriate vaccines such as influenza and pneumococcus. You'll also offer crucial support for hypertension, diabetes, and other therapy needs, and guide patients in utilizing medical devices effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and analyze blood samples from patients
• Offer vaccinations based on health assessments
• Manage services for hypertension and diabetes patients
• Instruct on medical device usage like glucometers
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to improve services
Requirements:
• Must be a member of Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec
• Degree in nursing (DCS or bachelor's)
• Knowledge of immunization protocols
• Experience in travel health is a plus
• Strong ability to engage with patients
