In this role, you will provide vital leadership and mentorship to Nurse Practitioners, strengthening interprofessional teams and advancing quality practices across PHC. Your contributions will include guiding policy development, ensuring compliance, and integrating new standards for NP practice. This position requires strong advocacy and the ability to influence organizational change based on patient care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Champion clinical excellence and quality practices in NP roles
• Lead NP orientation and mentorship programs within PHC
• Oversee legislative and quality assurance initiatives
• Develop strategic relationships with external stakeholders
• Facilitate NP involvement in systemic innovations and action plans
Requirements:
• Must be a registered Nurse Practitioner in British Columbia
• 5+ years of NP experience with leadership exposure
• Active or provisional PHC medical staff privileges
• Demonstrated experience in performance monitoring
• Strong project management skills and planning ability
