The ideal candidate will demonstrate independent nursing practice while collaborating with other healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for assessing and planning care for medically complex patients, educating families, and participating in discharge processes. Documentation of care and participation in hospital committees is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments
• Plan and execute individualized care strategies
• Facilitate health education for patients and families
• Document care according to VCH standards
• Participate in collaborative healthcare team efforts
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse status with BCCNM
• Experience in managing complex patient cases
• Proficiency in clinical skills including IV therapy
• Ability to collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
• Documented patient advocacy and education skills
