In this role at Vancouver Coastal Health, you will deliver tailored care to a diverse population experiencing severe mental illness and disorders. The Mental Health Nurse position focuses on assessing client needs, creating individualized treatment plans, and maintaining supportive relationships. Your collaborative approach will be key in effectively addressing each client's unique requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individualized direct nursing care
• Conduct comprehensive rehabilitation assessments
• Collaborate on strength-based care plans
• Administer and monitor prescribed medications
• Participate in team planning and quality improvement
Requirements:
• Current practicing registration with BCCNM
• Diploma in Nursing or relevant education
• At least two years of experience in mental health
• Valid BC Driver’s license for local travel
• Familiarity with psychosocial rehabilitation methodology
